  1. Parking Lot from March 11

    1. Will we have an opportunity to deepen our work with the other Early Lit Collaborations?
      • Yes, we will make sure there are many opportunities as possible for work across collaborations.

    2. If we feel we’ve exhausted most possibilities in one – could we begin another? - i.e.: secondary EL
      • Yes, we will have that opportunity in mid-2018.

    3. How long will these collaborations last?
      • The collaborations are initially being designed around two annual cycles of inquiry, from June 2016 to June 2018.

    4. How are we, a collaboration focusing on Early Lit., support or influence collaborations focusing on different areas? (are we supposed to?)
      • There will be opportunity to share learning and ideas across collaborations during opt-in sessions and the annual summit, both about content of the challenge (ie. Best practices in early literacy and assessment) and systems change.

    5. What will be the focus when all CALLI collaborations meet together?
      • The focus is still being finalized, depending on the work and learning of each collaboration. It is likely to include a focus on academic language and systems change.
