Purpose: The purpose of this Opt-In experience is to help all book club members reflect and uncover their professional impact and foster productive, heart-centered classrooms and schools.
Expectations: For each part, a different book club member will be asked to prepare a couple reflection prompts for the group to respond to. Book club members are to input their feedback after each part (there are five total parts in HEART!) on the Online MiC Community via comments. To note, this Book Club will be a mix of in-person, virtual and asynchronous communication. There will be a mid-book discussion virtually and a whole book in-person discussion the day before the Winter Convening.
The Math in Common Community of Practice offers the time, tools, and expertise for education leaders to work together, in and across districts, to advance student success in mathematics.
All Math in Common districts are achieving their visions of student success in mathematics.
