What early literacy skills can we support in preschool years to promote elementary literacy achievement? This study uses DRDP, PALS and the Kindergarten Readiness indicator to examine preschool skills that are most strongly associated with reading achievement in early elementary schools.

This study uses DRDP, PALS and the Kindergarten Readiness indicator to examine preschool skills that are most strongly associated with reading achievement in early elementary schools.

 The initial phases of this study provided descriptive quantitative information around Kindergarten to 5th grade CELDT and Fountas & Pinnell scores to inform future approaches for EL early literacy support. See the preliminary findings and related briefs below.
