Formative Assessment Workshop - January 15th & 16th

The Math in Common Community of Practice is proud to offer two one-day workshop opportunities for a large team of teachers and leaders from your district on actionable formative assessment strategies to help strengthen your district’s implementation of the CCSS-M. These will be designed and led by Dr. Dylan Wiliam, and will include topics such as: formative assessment, what it is and what it’s not; engineering effective discussions, activities and classroom tasks that elicit evidence of learning; using an interpretive lens rather than an evaluative one, and; providing feedback that moves learning forward.
